Villagers Main Stage Presents: Twelfth Night (The Public Works Musical Adaptation)

Performances are Friday + Saturday at 8:00 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

Twelfth Night tells the story of Viola, a young heroine who washes up on the shores of Illyria, disguises herself as a man, goes to court to woo a countess, and falls hard for a Duke. As she navigates this strange and wonderful journey, she finds her true self and true love in the process. This adaptation premiered in 2016 at the Public's famous Delacorte Theater in Central Park as a rousing contemporary musical transformation of Shakespeare's classic romantic comedy about mistaken identity and self-discovery.
