Godspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Prince of Egypt); and it took the world by storm. Led by the international hit, "Day by Day," Godspell features a parade of beloved songs, including "Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All for the Best," "Beautiful City” and "By My Side."
Taken from the book of Matthew, Godspell tells the story of Jesus and his disciples, as they all learn what it means to truly “Save the People.” Prepare to be moved throughout the show, as the story is told through many varieties of theater - including pantomime, dance, comedy, and tragedy. Godspell is a show that you will want to see multiple times, so be sure to get your tickets early!
