A perennial favorite of theatergoers!
Arsenic and Old Lace is a clever combination of the farcical and the macabre. It’s an outstanding night of theatre, crazy fun — a comical masterpiece. The plot centers on two elderly sisters famous for their numerous acts of charity. Unfortunately, their charity includes poisoning lonely old men who come to their home looking for lodging. The two women are assisted in their crimes by their nephew, who believes he is Teddy Roosevelt, and digs locks for the Panama Canal in their basement. Audiences can’t get enough of this delightfully devious play!
