A Play About Nothing

“Everybody's doing something, we'll do nothing.”

These are the immortal words of George Costanza as he and his co-writer, Jerry Seinfeld, were brainstorming ideas for their pitch to NBC to create a sit-com.
You may ask what this had to do with PebbleCreek. Well, it just so happens that the brain trust of PC Players was involved in selecting new plays for the directors, next two seasons. As they poured over countless scripts, interviewed directors, discussed the pros and cons of every play that crossed their desks, it occurred to them that . . . that . . . they had nothing. They were drawing one big blank. But desperate times called for desperate measures. Thus, it was decided to embark on the only logical path when rational choices and good judgment were absent. The time had come to get the word out that next October, the PC Players are proud to present: A Play About Nothing.
