| Deloris Van Cartier is a lounge singer in 1970s Philadelphia who witnesses a murder and is placed in protective custody in a convent. Disguised as a nun, she finds her calling working with the choir and helps the sisters find their voices.
The musical features a score that blends disco, gospel, and Motown influences, including songs like “Fabulous, Baby!”, “Raise Your Voice,” and “Take Me to Heaven”.
