Scrag presents Sacred Songs of the Mary’s, a program of ecstatic and contemplative early and early-inspired music that connects back to Divine Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene. Scrag co-Artistic Directors Mary Bonhag (soprano) and Evan Premo (bass and viola da gamba) are joined by classically trained musician, sound healing practitioner, and a founding member Anonymous 4 Ruth Cunningham (voice, recorder, harp and flute) on works by Hildegard of Bingen and Kaija Saariaho, local composers Kathy Wonson Eddy and Evan Premo,and others.
