Join us for a staged reading of A Peso For Your Thoughts written by Jorj Savage and directed by Kirsten McCory. Part of the FIRST DRAFT staged reading series presented by the Edmonds Driftwood Players and Driftwood After Dark.

A Peso For Your Thoughts is a Saroyanesque western play set in a small hotel in the town of Ajijic, Mexico, where ex-pats from all over the world used to winter.  It is February 2020, and Covid 19 is just beginning to take over.  George, a 50-year-old Canadian woman, has just broken up with a retired ship captain because she wants to be more than a "trophy" companion.

In the course of two days and with the help of a mysterious man from Wallingford, she will work out on her own terms what her future life will be.

Runtime: 60-70 minutes without an intermission
