On March 30th at 4 PM, Sierra Madre Playhouse will feature Tesserae Baroque in "The Grand Tour," a musical event that brings the Baroque period's rich cultural heritage to life. This concert aligns with the historical Grand Tour, where Northern European aristocratic families journeyed across the continent for cultural enrichment.

The performance will be led by Maxine Eilander, a baroque harp expert, and Stephen Stubbs, known for his mastery of the lute and guitars. The program is designed to follow the Grand Tour's path, with a special emphasis on Italy, renowned for its historical and cultural significance during this era.

Attendees will experience the diverse range of music that marked this period, from the guitar music of Spain's Murcia to the operatic innovations from Monteverdi's Italy. A significant highlight is the music of Turlough O’Carolan, Ireland's famed blind harpist.

This event promises a harmonious blend of history and culture, brought to life by the talented musicians. Tickets for the concert are priced between $30 and $45. Complimentary champagne will be served, adding to the event.
