Sierra Madre Playhouse is hosting an evening of jazz with Nick Mancini, a renowned vibraphonist/marimbist and composer. The event offers an opportunity to witness his exceptional talent in jazz performance.

Nick Mancini began his career as a drummer at 15 and later transitioned into a skilled vibraphonist and composer. He pursued a master's degree in jazz performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Mancini's musical journey flourished in Los Angeles, where he became an integral part of the local jazz scene and earned recognition, including being named "Best Jazz Percussionist" by DRUM Magazine.

Mancini has performed with notable artists like Arturo Sandoval and Kamasi Washington and appeared at prestigious venues such as the Apollo Theater and Birdland. He has also participated in jazz festivals worldwide. Besides performing, he is committed to music education, teaching at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSU Long Beach and CSU Northridge, and mentoring at the Thelonious Monk Institute.
