Holiday Jazz with Martha Bassett

Vocalist Martha Bassett will present a program of her favorite holiday jazz tunes.

A native of West Virginia, Martha has made a home for herself in North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad. She is the host of The Martha Bassett Show, a live musical variety show held at the Reeves Theater in Elkin, NC.

Martha will be joined by Matt Kendrick, bass; Federico Pivetta, piano; John Wilson, drums; and Ken Wilmot, trumpet.

This quintet has worked together for over a decade and their rapport on stage is both intuitive and engaging. Selections include “Let it Snow,” “Blue Christmas,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Santa Baby,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” “White Christmas,” and more.
