Chase Away the Blues

Shake off the winter doldrums with some heart thumping, down-home rhythm and blues in this can't miss annual music event. Serving up a plate o' blues hotter than a rack of Memphis ribs, Stacy Mitchhart and his band will pepper the stage with their high-energy R&B. Also, Chattanooga-based Lon Eldridge will shake things up with his spicy blend of traditional blues, ragtime and swing. Local blues chanteuse Peggy Ratusz will open the evening with her ruby-throated vocals backed by some of the region's best musicians.

Once again, Blues Patrons will be treated to a special music treat in the Pavilion Lounge, catering by Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) and Mountain Brook Vineyard will provide an assortment of offerings from the winery. General admission patrons will have access to a food truck and beverages available in the popular Blues Tent with music provided by local guitarist Keith Troutman's Pearls Collide.

Doors and music start at 5:30 pm in the Blues Pavilion and Tent and the mainstage performances get underway at 6 pm. Blues Patrons tickets are $125 and General Admission tickets are $40, plus taxes and fees.
