George Gershwin's iconic Rhapsody in Blue celebrates its 100th birthday in 2024. The SBSO is excited to premiere the new Gershwin Critical Ediition with acclaimed pianist, David Kaplan. Our powerful All-American season opener pays tribute to legendary artists like Tina Turner, Carole King, Aretha Franklin, Simon & Garfunkel and features works by William Grant Still, Valerie Coleman, and guest artist Abraham Alexander.
