ABOUT THIS FESTIVAL:
Come join this long-standing New England tradition! Since 1987, the Sheepshearing Festival at Gore Place has delighted thousands of visitors each year with demonstrations of traditional shearing and herding dogs, live music, handmade craft and fiber artists, and historical reenactors on the beautiful grounds of this historic, 50-acre estate.

Additional marketing benefits for crafts vendors: Gore Place will include vendors’ web/social links on its website, which receives thousands of site visitors each year.

VENDOR/FESTIVAL LOGISTICS:
Set up time is 7:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. After unloading, all vehicles must be moved by 9:15 a.m. and parked in designated parking. Due to the high volume of visitors, vendors may not drive back to their booths until after 5 p.m. All displays must be set up by 9:30 a.m. within the booth space and remain in place until 5 p.m. NO EARLY DEPARTURE!

Vendors provide their own WEIGHTED tents, tables, and chairs. No electricity. Each craftsperson can have ONE assistant at no charge. NO BALLOONS ALLOWED!

All vendors selling food products (including honey) must be approved by the Waltham Health Department. No vendor selling food will be accepted after March 1, 2024, due to the health department requirements.
