"Graduation Ball" and La Bayadere

Artistic Director June Taylor-Dixon

Co-Artistic Director Kim Schroeder

NWDT is delighted to be debuting for the first time on our stage David Lichine's “Graduation Ball”, a fun and comedic ballet that will please the whole family. Set in Vienna in 1840 to the lilting music of Johann Strauss II, it tells the story of what can happen when a local boys military academy visits a girls boarding school for their Graduation Ball and reveals all of the crazy antics they get up to. A must for all ages!

This program will also include excerpts from, “La Bayadere”, a renowned classic set in India, richly costumed with music by Ludwig Minkus and original choreography by Marius Petipa.

We do hope you are able to join us for this dance spectacular.

Two shows only, so book now to avoid disappointment!
