Madison College Division of College Culture and Climate presents

“The Meeting”

By Jeff Stetson

"The Meeting" by Jeff Stetson is an imagined discussion between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. While leaders of the Civil Rights Movement, there is no record of the two historical figures ever having a conversation. And so, traveling back to the 1960s, following the events of the notorious attack on Malcolm's home, this play pits together their values, philosophies, intention and experiences as it explores what that conversation would be like. "The Meeting" is a rhetorically riveting theatrical experience that is sure to enlighten, spark discourse, and challenge perspectives in any viewer.

Performances will take place inside the Mitby Theater, located on the first floor of the Madison College Truax Campus, 1701 Wright Street in Madison.

SATURDAY, FEB. 10 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
