Their 8-member big sound includes a 3-piece brass section featuring some of the area’s greatest talent in the region.

In addition to the well-bedazzled “Elton Jeff,” this performance of Elton Jeff & The Honky Cats features some bonus visual elements. “Honky Cat” is a song composed by Elton John with lyrics by Bernie Taupin. It was used as the opening track for Elton’s fifth studio album, Honky Château, released in 1972. The single reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is this very song title to which our band proudly owes its namesake.
