Join Bistro-, Julie Wilson- and Multi-MAC-Award Winning Cabaret/Jazz performing artist Sue Matsuki in This Broad’s Way, a very special evening of Broadway’s best. Sue will indulge in her favorite guilty pleasure by singing songs from: Wonderful Town, Damn Yankees, Dr. Dolittle, Sweeney Todd, City of Angels, Cinderella, The King & I, How to Succeed in Business, Kiss Me Kate, Wicked...and MORE! All of the songs Sue will perform are written by legendary composers Comden & Green, Bernstein, Bricusse, Sondheim, Zippel, Coleman, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and Porter, just to name a few. Sue’s fresh and innovative approach to this music pulls each song out of its original context, giving it new meaning. Sue’s special guest for this evening is Christine Thomas-O’Meally. This show is cabaret at its best, connecting you to the performer and the music. On Saturday, Sue will lead an interactive Master Class on the subject of cabarets and how to interpret songs in that way.
