In a program celebrating the extraordinary beauty of this region, JSO Concertmaster Maureen Conlon Gutierrez performs a hidden gem for violin and horn, joining with one of the greatest hornists ever, the legendary Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s principal horn, Bill Caballero. On the second half is Sibelius’s nature-filled and triumphant Symphony No. 2, a beautiful journey through landscapes of space and time
