Join us for a staged reading of Education of Carol and Michael Brady written by Henry S Brown, Jr. and directed by Kirsten McCory. Part of the FIRST DRAFT staged reading series presented by the Edmonds Driftwood Players and Driftwood After Dark.

Synopsis: One year ago, a young white Kentucky trophy wife and mother of three yearns for more than being an afterthought to the machinations of people closest to her. One year ago, a young Black Seattle architect and father of three struggles to bring his wayward spouse home from the streets. Today, these two broken souls will collide and their pasts will shape their future.

Expected Run Time: 70 minutes, with no intermission. Playwright Feedback session is after the reading and it is optional to stay and participate.

First Draft is a free staged reading series, but we ask that you reserve tickets, in case of changes to capacity prior to the event. We are seating at 100% capacity, festival seating (not assigned). We will be checking people off on a door list upon arrival, so you will NOT receive printed tickets in the mail or at Will Call.
