Written & Directed by Bryan Bergeron with Music & Lyrics by Kim Dickman

June 13-29, 2025

Important Update:

One of our actors had to undergo an emergency appendectomy this morning and will be recovering this weekend. As a result, all performances of The Chocolate Pigeon Caper this weekend (June 20–23) have been canceled. He is expected to return next weekend, and the show will go on!

If you have tickets for this weekend, give us a call at 321-783-3127 and let’s get your seats reserved for next weekend!

๐ŸŽญ It’s that time of year… the FINAL main stage production of our 2024–25 season!

And true to Surfside tradition, it’s an original, written & directed by our very own Artistic Director Bryan Bergeron, with music & lyrics by the fabulous Kim Dickman.

This year? We’ve taken on film noir — and completely fractured it.
๐Ÿ’ฅ Think Mel Brooks meets Monty Python in a parody of The Maltese Falcon…

๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ‍โ™‚๏ธ A hard-boiled detective.
๐Ÿ’‹ A femme fatale.
๐Ÿงช A mad scientist.
๐Ÿซ And a… 600-year-old missing chocolate pigeon?

Yep.
Add in gangsters, ghosts, 5-foot-tall babies, sassy secretaries, bumbling cops, unruly children, a blind beggar with unsettling insights, and a trio of songbirds that take you right back to the 40s — all brought to life by a cast of Surfside newcomers and veterans ages 7 to 80-something.

It’s wild. It’s witty. It’s The Chocolate Pigeon Caper.
Rated PG-13
