Awake and Narcoleptic is a one-woman show that offers a raw, funny, and poignant look at the life of comedian Sarah Albritton, who is living with narcolepsy. This show explores not only narcolepsy, but also everything anyone with an invisible disability goes through: misdiagnosis, medication side effects, and misconceptions. Through her story, Sarah hopes to inspire greater understanding and acceptance of those living with disabilities and to encourage people to speak up and share their own experiences. Sarah's personal journey of self-discovery is interwoven with humorous stories including relationship fails, hallucinations, sleep paralysis, dealing with unsupportive friends, and, of course, falling asleep at the worst moments.
Audience members are invited to stay for a Q&A with Sarah Albritton Immediately following the performance.
