Hailing from Fontainebleau, France, Cyrille Aimée has earned worldwide acclaim for her captivating voice. Trained at SUNY Purchase's jazz conservatory, she emerged as a finalist in the 2010 Thelonious Monk Vocal Competition, won the Montreux Jazz Festival Competition in 2007, and earned a Grammy Award nomination in 2019. Cyrille has released three celebrated albums, including collaborations with guitarist Diego Figueiredo and the recent duo album "Just the Two of Us" under Japan's Venus Records.
Based in Brooklyn, Cyrille frequents Manhattan's top jazz clubs like Joe's Pub and Dizzy's Club, sharing stages with icons of the East Coast jazz scene such as Roy Hargrove and Anat Cohen. Her latest live album, "Cyrille Aimée & Friends Live at Smalls," features standout performances with Joel Frahm and others, highlighting her dynamic vocals and improvisational skill.
