A Jester must pester till the funny bones tickle,

and sometimes in the process they end up in a pickle.

They must be an artist and remain a dunce.

They’ll juggle fifteen objects and then drop them all at once!

We’ll have to choose a monarch… an audience member will do!

They’ll wear a crown and pretty gown and laugh until they’re blue!

Come see a show with two Court Jesters, some Peasants, and a King.

And if they fail to make him laugh, their necks he’ll surely wring.
