Our Villain Era: Well-behaved Women Seldom Make History

Friday, November 15 - 7:00 PM
Saturday, November 16 - 7:00 PM

The Gem Theater (1615 E 18th St)

Get ready for a concert filled with inspiration from fierce, courageous, and fearlessly powerful female characters, both fictional and real. Not every "villain" is bad, but it's best not to test them and find out. The lineup of songs will include notable pieces such as Verdi's "Witches' Chorus," Paul David Thomas' "Out Damned Spot," Will Nichols' "Sea Witch," Mendelssohn's "Hexenlied," and Menken/Huff's "Badder." Expect a musical experience that celebrates the strength and complexity of remarkable women everywhere!
