70 Anniversary screening with panel discussion

Join us for a 70th-anniversary screening of Salt of the Earth, a story of resilience, solidarity, and the courageous fight for dignity in the face of adversity. Film historian Ed Rampell will moderate a panel including Ellen Geer, extra in the 1954 movie and whose father, Will Geer, portrayed the Sheriff; Bill Jarrico, whose father Paul Jarrico was Salt’s producer; Becca Wilson, whose father Michael Wilson wrote Salt; and other guests.

5:30pm -  Panel Discussion and re-enactment of HUAC Testimony

6:10pm - Intermission

6:30pm - Screening of Salt of the Earth

8:00pm - Q&A following Salt of the Earth
