Lafayette Ballet Company's: The Nutcracker

The Nutcracker, arguably the most well known classical ballet worldwide, is a LaGrange holiday tradition for all ages! The story unfolds on Christmas eve as the mysterious inventor Drosselmeier gives an unusual toy Nutcracker to Clara. A magical dream occurs taking Clara and the audience to a fierce battle, a glistening snow forest and finally the iconic Land of the Sweets. The vibrant production set to Tchaikovsky's familiar score includes a cast of over 150 dancers from Lafayette Ballet Company, Lafayette Center for Dance and guest artists.
