Holiday Musical - Oliver!
book, music & lyrics by Lionel Bart
directed by Rebecca Waxman

The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a hungry workhouse orphan, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver makes an escape to London where he finds acceptance among a young group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the cunning Fagin. When Oliver is captured for a theft that he did not commit, the kind victim, Mr. Brownlow, takes him in. Fearing for the safety of his hideout, Fagin employs the sinister Bill Sikes and the sympathetic Nancy to kidnap Oliver back, threatening his chances of discovering the true love of a family.
Oliver! is a musical theatre masterpiece, highlighting the talents of a large ensemble cast and thrilling audiences with beloved characters and music.

TICKET PRICES

Did you know that NEYT Holiday Show ticket prices haven’t changed since 2007???

At the New England Youth Theatre, we strongly believe that theater and arts education should be available to everyone, regardless of income or financial status. With that guiding principal in mind, we continue to look for ways to keep our programming and performances financially accessible, while balancing the need to keep the lights on and pay our artists and teachers a living wage.

Two years ago, we introduced sliding scale enrollment pricing. When families opt to pay at the middle or upper level, everything above the base price goes to our Angels in the Wings financial aid fund. This directly helps other families. In 2024 we were able to award 63% more financial aid than the year before!

When we began discussing the need to raise ticket prices, we were all concerned with what that would mean for our community and the accessibility of our shows. Well, the sliding scale model was such a success for enrollment, that we are giving it a try for tickets.

You’ll see that our base price for seniors and adults is the same as it’s been since the first time Oliver graced our stage in 2007! If you are able, and choose to pay at the Suggested or Added Support levels, the additional funds will help us retain the lower base price into the future, while supporting access to arts education for any interested child in the Greater Brattleboro area.

Base Price
Students & Seniors $13
Adult $15

Suggested Price
All Audiences $20

Added Support Price
