Understudy Theater is a serialized soap opera to be presented in three installments this season, an absurdity laced visit to the seaside town of Machination Cove, built on the back of beasts and populated by oddballs, liars, and parrots.

All Understudy Theater events will be presented at the Bigtop Backstage, 84810 State Highway 13, Bayfield, WI.

        Just the right amount, and then too much.

And what of betrayal, will there be betrayal?
        Betrayals familial, professional, and emotional, with confidences a given.

Is there to be scheming?
        Don’t tell anyone, but it’s basically one giant rat king of schemes.

But what of love, of romance?
        Why we’ve got it all wrong in ways so cute it has to be love!

Okay then, what is it about?
        Wouldn’t you like to know, you curious little chicken.
