Songs and Dances of Love, Saturday, February 8th 7:30 p.m. Willson Auditorium, Bozeman.

Open your heart and experience different shades of love through song, dance and a heart-warming story - From the Streets to the Stage: the story of Frederick Davis an African American who grew up on the streets of Chattanooga. He couldn’t afford to try out for the football team and the dance auditions were free, so that was where it all started.

Davis found the support he needed through Ballet Tennessee, a church family and a caring community that elevated him, through their great love and compassion, to become a principal dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem.

The evening’s love mélange includes Davis and his partner Paunika Jones in Le Corsaire Pas de Deux and The Lark Ascending, an original piece choreographed by Davis; Flames of Paris  and the stunning pas de deux, Spartacus, performed by gold medalists Nicole Assaad & Luis Molina, White Swan Pas de Deux and Romeo & Juliet Pas de Deux danced by Bozeman favorite Molly Groeschl and Lucas Segovia - former principal Ballet Argentina and Joffrey Ballet, plus love songs: Make Believe and Dancing on the Stars sung by Ciara Wallace along with other dancers, singers and poets.

Come bask in the love that the arts can bestow to all hopeless and hopeful romantics. Your heart will grow an extra size or two!
