POPERA CONCERT

From Classical to Broadway
Robert Walling and Kristyne Olson are again bringing you a Popera Concert for your listening pleasure. This concert features our talented vocalists and instrumentalists, including two Music Club scholarship recipients from Glendale Community College, performing both Opera, classical cross-over and Broadway selections. Romantic arias and duets from Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, Franz Lehar’s Das Land des Lächelns (The Land of Smiles), and Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance; violin/piano and flute/piano instrumental duets and favorite Broadway songs from Carousel and West Side Story are some of the classic music we will be performing.
This one-night concert is sure to please all music lovers.
