WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME

Written by Heidi Schreck
Directed by Peggy Metzger

September 5 - 28

Redwood Curtain Theatre

Fifteen year old Heidi earned her college tuition by winning Constitutional debate competitions across the country. In this Tony and Pulitzer-nominated, hilarious, hopeful and achingly human new play, adult Heidi resurrects her teenage self in order to trace the profound relationship between four generations of women and the founding document that shaped their lives.

Other information you might want to know:

This show runs about two hours including one intermission. It's funny, it's serious, it's a ray of hope and a call to action. Although not adult oriented, there are some serious themes (abortion, violence against women) but nothing a middle schooler has never heard about.

The performance on September 7 is a benefit for Temple Beth El.
