The Binghamton University Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Distinguished Speaker Series present the MLK Series Fireside Chat with Martin Luther King III. King, the oldest son of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, is a prominent thought leader and international statesman, consulting with heads of state and governments worldwide. Building on his father's work, King has dedicated his life to promoting global human rights and working to eliminate racism, violence, and poverty internationally.

The evening is a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy and the enduring work of advancing equality and justice. It includes a talk with King, a musical and spoken word performance and a book signing.
