True West

True West tells the story of the sibling rivalry between two brothers in the American west. Set against the dreams of a changing modern-day American West, playwright Sam Shepard's story is a serious but darkly humorous version of the Cain and Abel story while satirizing modern America’s exploitation of the romanticized cowboys-and-Indians West of American mythology.
