Based on a true story and acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, “Devotion” describes the growing comradeship between Black naval aviator Jesse Brown and his White flying partner Tom Hudner during the Korean War. Filled with tense aerial battle sequences, the film also accurately depicts Brown’s inner turmoil as he works to overcome the racism of the time.
