The Carozza-Russell duo is a blend of classical, jazz, and blues, featuring mostly original compositions along with a few familiar favorites.

Nick Carozza, currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the oboist with Red Rock Quintet and is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at U.N.L.V. with Dr. Stephen Caplan. An experienced orchestral musician, he has performed with many notable orchestras. He was also awarded 1st Place in the 2023 and 2024 Nevada Music Teachers Association Young Artist Woodwind Competition, moving forward to also win 1st in the Southwest Regional.

Justin G. Russell Jr. was maternally Irish born for Tsi’naajinii. He is a fourth-generation Diné Silversmith, Bassist, Composer, Cultural Preservationist, and currently the owner of Russell Trading Company since 2020. His current ensembles include the Grand Junction Symphony and Mariachi San Jose.
