San Francisco University High School is thrilled to announce the 2025 Student Drama Series! The SDS will take place on Thursday and Friday, February 13-14, with two performances on Thursday at 4:00 and 7:00 PM, and one performance on Friday at 7:00 PM, all in the UHS Theater.

The Student Drama Series showcases entirely student created work and will present four completely new and original creations from: Jacob Barrett '25, Celine Guay '25, Emily Maremont '25, and Eve Young ‘25.

The 2025 Student Drama Series is the culmination of 7 months of work by the Advanced Projects in Theatre class and it includes the participation, as creators, directors, designers, performers, assistant directors, choreographers, composers, musicians, stage managers, and technicians, of 30 UHS Students.

The projects are varied and diverse; from a story of 5 lost souls looking for connection in their local watering hole; to a spoof of — and dive into — America’s fascination with televised talent shows; to a movement-based adaptation of short stories by Jorge Luis Borges and Marco Denevi; to a spy-thriller set in Prohibition era Chicago. The students in Advanced Projects have been imagining, creating, and writing, since at least August, and directing, choreographing, re-writing, designing, and rehearsing, since November. They are excited to share their work with an audience!

Please join us and support our incredibly talented Advanced Projects students when the 2025 Student Drama Series takes the stage on Thursday, February 13 at 4:00 and 7:00 PM and Friday, February 14 at 7:00 PM.
