Arabian Nights
March 29-30, 2025- A play by our 6th-12th Grade School of Theatre Acting Students
A lot is at stake for three students at Greenville High. Dax Walker is one wrong move away from a prestigious football scholarship, Sophie Mills is Ivy League bound, and Miles Sawyer is set on following his father's path into the army. When Ms. Rollins, a first-year teacher, assigns them detention after one too many interruptions in class, they are desperate to avoid it at all costs.
Luckily Ms. Rollins proposes an alternative - a meeting with the Arts and Culture Society after school. They must each write a report on their experience in order to be excused. What may seem like a dull afternoon has surprising twists in store that no one could have predicted!
As these students immerse themselves in the history and culture through a presentation of Arabian Nights, their eyes are opened to the wonders of storytelling and what it means to experience different cultures from their gymnasium.
