The internationally renowned Hampton University Concert Choir will conclude its national 2025 Spring Tour in New Orleans on Friday March 14, 2025, at 7 p.m. This performance promises to be a grand musical event and will feature the compositions of R. Nathaniel Dett, Edward K. Ellington, Moses Hogan, and more.

About the Hampton University Concert Choir
The Hampton University Choirs have enriched the hearts of thousands of listeners for more than 150 years. The Hampton University Concert Choir has maintained a repertoire of choral masterworks from some of the most prolific American composers. Currently under the baton of Omar J. Dickenson, the choir’s tradition of excellence transcends the walls of the University and influences people from all walks of life. A variety of choral literature, a legacy of tradition from which the choir stands, and performances that challenge the traditional choral music model, make the Hampton University Concert Choir a well-respected ambassador of goodwill for Hampton University and the standard to which subsequent traditions must aspire.
