The story of LA BOHÈME is timeless. There have always been people who live on the fringes of society -- artists, writers, musicians -- who sacrifice much in pursuit of their art. Douglas Anderson relocates Puccini's classic to a cramped Brooklyn loft in the 1970s, not surprisingly without changing a single detail in the story. In any age, young, passionate, idealistic people set out to make their mark on the world, in spite of challenges and disappointments at every turn. As the French would say, plus ҫa change...
Fully staged and directed by Douglas Anderson, full orchestra conducted by Filippo Ciabatti.
LA BOHÈME will be performed in Italian with English supertitles
