| Corvallis Comedy Night with Dustin Nickerson
Sunday, October 26th at 5pm and 7:30pm
Majestic Theatre: Starker Auditorium
Tickets: $25
There’s an image of the stand-up comedian as a drunken, drugged-out curmudgeon with no family ties, constantly on the road. And then there’s Dustin Nickerson. Married to his high school sweetheart, with three kids and his elderly father back at home, he has totally different reasons to constantly be on the road. Well that, and he’s quickly becoming one of America’s most in-demand stand-ups who won’t embarrass you in front of your mom. Following in the footsteps of such dad joke legends as Jim Gaffigan, Nate Bargatze and Brian Regan, Dustin writes hilarious jokes about marriage and family that (shock!) the whole family can enjoy. He’s been on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden and After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson. And we can’t wait to be with him, for two big shows this October right here in Corvallis!
Rated: PG-13

| The Producers
Written by Mel Brooks/Thomas Meehan
Music by Mel Brooks
Directed by Ashleigh Barbeau & Riley Lucas
November 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22 at 7:30 pm
November 9, 16, 23 at 2:30 pm
Majestic Theatre: Starker Auditorium
Tickets: Adults $ 23, Student/Senior $ 21
The plot is simple: a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and his mild-mannered accountant come up with a scheme to produce the most notorious flop in history, thereby bilking their backers (all "little old ladies") out of millions of dollars. Only one thing goes awry: the show is a smash hit! The antics of Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom as they maneuver their way fecklessly through finding a show (the gloriously offensive "Springtime for Hitler"), hiring a director, raising the money and finally going to prison for their misdeeds is a lesson in broad comic construction. At the core of the insanely funny adventure is a poignant emotional journey of two very different men who become friends.
Rated: PG-13; mature themes. Profanity. Sexual innuendo or suggestive humor. Depictions of elder abuse. A prop gun is wielded and fired. Satiric parody of Adolf Hitler and Nazis. Specific usages of the term “Heil Hitler” and imitation of the Nazi salute. | Get Tickets |

Corvallis Comedy Night with Gary Vider
Friday, December 12 at 7:30 pm
Majestic Theatre: Starker Auditorium
Tickets: $20
With a loving wife and two adorable kids in suburban New Jersey, Gary Vider is the consummate family man. Not that he’s thrilled about it. Gary’s hilariously deadpan jokes about the pitfalls of marriage and children have earned him TV spots on Conan and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and even took him all the way to the final round of America’s Got Talent back in the day. Since then he’s become a regular at New York’s world famous Comedy Cellar, toured the country with Nate Bargatze and Sam Morril, and was named a Comic to Watch by Esquire magazine. Gary Vider is one of the best joke writers in the game right now and we are super excited to welcome him to Corvallis!

R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots) is a delightful science fiction play written in 1920 by the Czech playwright Karel Čapek. The play, which introduced the concept of robots to the world, is set in a dystopian future where machines serve humanity. But what else might they do? "R.U.R." remains a thought-provoking exploration of automation, unfree labor, the ethical and societal implications of artificial intelligence. The play is also a treatise on political and social others, hierarchy, and the dangers of authoritarianism.
