Black Coffee Sunday: A Cultural Homecoming

Them People Productions is proud to present Black Coffee Sunday — a soulful, sensory-rich experience coming to New Orleans for the very first time. What began in Oakland as our flagship event now returns home, not as a repeat, but as a full-circle moment.

Born in Memphis and steeped in legacy, Cxffeeblack is the revolutionary movement reclaiming the Black history of coffee from seed to sip. At the center is Bartholomew Jones — educator, emcee, and cultural force — whose storytelling and curated tasting experience has electrified audiences across the country.

Now, in partnership with the André Cailloux Center, we’re honored to introduce Bartholomew and his mission to our own community through film, flavor, and conversation.
