FUNK FILM & CONCERT
"WE WANT THE FUNK!" documentary - famed director Stanley Nelson examines the roots of funk music from the early days in gospel to the 1970's funk explosion into mainstream music. This 60-minute celebration film features concert footage and interviews with Parliament, Sly & the Family Stone, De la Soul, James Brown, and musicians such as David Byrne of Talking Heads.
