His breakthrough came in 1988 when he won “Star Search,” which led to a contract with Capitol Records and the release of his Gold-certified debut album “Young Man,” featuring hits like “Only Here for a Little While” and “Somewhere in My Broken Heart.” With over 25 years in the music industry, Billy Dean has released 11 albums and earned numerous accolades, including a Grammy win and induction into the Florida Artist Hall of Fame. Join us for an unforgettable night of music and storytelling with this modern-day troubadour as he brings his timeless hits to downtown Calhoun.
