When Angela Springer orders a mourning gown, she unwittingly enters a world of professional widows, sinister baked goods, mysterious deaths, and a secret society of husbands with murder on the menu. With a red tin box, a corset called a “merry widow,” and a young assistant who always knows just what’s needed, the play whirls from satire to suspense. Who’s really dead—and who might be next?
