Leonard E. Barrett Jr. - Unforgettable: The Songs Of Nat King Cole

In Person Performance

August 6, 2025 - 7:30pm

Playing on the Berg-Young Cabaret Stage

From its inception at the Lannie Garrett Clocktower, this show has been a cornerstone of Leonard’s career.

Born in Montgomery, Alabama to a Baptist minister, Nathaniel Cole, then a young boy, usurped his dad’s plans to raise a Baptist pianist by painting piano keys on his windowsill. That way he could practice JAZZ. His dad couldn’t hear him playing the music that wasn’t allowed in their house!

By the age of 13 Nathaniel Cole was a jazz prodigy and was being hired in jazz clubs in Chicago!

Come and listen to the songs sung by one of the greatest vocalists in America.
