A Dream Tour through the Village of Warm Springs
with Mathias Svalina
Saturday, September 20 10:00AM - 12:00 PM
Pricing $25 per person
Free under the age of 16
Join poet and storyteller Mathias Svalina for a walking journey through the village of Warm Springs, where dreams take root in unexpected places and the ordinary transforms into the wonderfully absurd. This isn't your typical poetry reading or historical tour—it's an invitation to experience a place through the lens of dreams, where the mundane becomes magical and the logical gives way to the luminous. Come prepared to see Warm Springs with new eyes, to find wisdom in wonder & nonsense, and to discover what happens when poetry meets place in the most unexpected ways.
This two-hour, 1.5-mile dream tour weaves together fragments of actual history with fabricated tales, in celebration of the wisdom of nonsense. As we meander through familiar streets and forgotten corners, Svalina will plant dreams in the landscape itself—inviting you to look around while he recounts surreal histories of the surroundings.
