Our 60th Anniversary Season begins with Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, based on the medieval poem collection of the same name, speaking on the shifts in wealth, fleeting life, and joys of spring. This version will be the American premiere of a new instrumentation for chamber orchestra. Adelphi Orchestra will be joining us along with soloists Kristen Plumley, Brian Giebler, and Edmund Milly, as well as the NJ Children’s Choir and Mount Olive Middle School Select Choir.

Ars Musica Chorale began with its first concert in December 1966. We continue the choir’s legacy with this annual tradition - An Ars Musica Holiday - which features beautiful choral music and seasonal readings with organ, brass, and percussion accompaniment, to create a spectacular musical experience that is a perfect way to celebrate the holidays. This year’s program will feature choruses from Handel’s Messiah, along with works by Rutter, Willcocks, and Brandau. Come ring in the holiday season with Ars Musica and our featured instrumentalists!

Ars Musica Chorale continues its season with a concert to remember the past generations of its sixty year history. The centerpiece of the program is John Rutter’s Requiem, a piece full of prayers for all humanity that leaves the audience with a feeling of content and resolution. Along with the Requiem, the concert will feature the all-male professional vocal quartet, Choir Next Door. Made up of some of the greatest choral singers from across the East Coast, Choir Next Door brings a refined and versatile approach to both new works and treasured favorites. They are not to be missed!

Ars Musica Chorale concludes its 2025-2026 60th Anniversary season with two works that are filled with joy, power, and celebration. Francis Poulenc’s Gloria features movements that tug at the heartstrings, make you want to dance, and everything in between. Andre Thomas’ Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy combines gospel, spirituals, and jazz to create a jubilant combination of American genres. Please join us in celebrating our 60th birthday!
