Stories High XXV celebrates 25 seasons of welcoming folks to the theater many creatives call home - Bindlestiff Studio.

2025 marks the 25th iteration of Bindlestiff Studio’s Stories High, the page-to-stage workshop series that has fostered the talents of local Filipinx American creatives in Bindlestiff since the 1990s. With each season, Bindlestiff invites creatives of all levels to participate in Stories High workshops to learn new skills in theatre writing, directing or acting. These workshops culminate in a staged production of selected short plays for participants to collaborate with their cohort and showcase their newly polished skills.

With six original short plays, Stories High XXV features the stunning talents of emerging and returning generations of Bindlestiff artists. Whether they are a veteran Bindle-head or a first-time creative, Stories High continues to be a warm introduction (or return) to the beloved Bindlestiff community. As the saying goes at Bindlestiff, “If this is your first time here, welcome home. If you’ve been here before, welcome back.”
