A Christmas Carol

Charles Ludlam’s A Christmas Carol is an adaptation of Dickens’s classic, in which Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Jacob Marley, Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. The play remains faithful to the original’s arc: Scrooge confronts his greed and neglect, sees the consequences of his cruelty, and is ultimately redeemed—reconnecting with his nephew and promising kindness, generosity, and renewed human connection.
