Do you adore singing along to the Wicked soundtrack?  Have you had fantasies of being on a Broadway stage? If you answered “YES!” then, you belong in PopUp Chorus Wicked!

At our events the conductor teaches two show tunes and when everyone is ready, we do a "dress rehearsal", and end with a filmed performance. This is your chance to feel the joy of singing with others. It’s easy and fun!

Everybody is welcome, regardless of vocal ability or experience. We are a drop-in chorus that invites all people who love to sing to join us. No audition or monthly commitment is required – just show up and sing at this low-pressure, high-fun event for lovers of musical theater! You don’t need to be able to sing well, and you don’t need to know anyone else who is going! This is a chance to make great music in a welcoming setting and to feel the joy of connecting and singing with others.

​The (NEW) ArtsCenter is located at 400 Roberson St. Carrboro NC. All shows are seated. We have a bar with wine, beer, and snacks. We also have water stations where you can fill up your own water bottle or if you need an eco cup, just ask! We do not charge for water. The ArtsCenter is now working regularly with COMPOST NOW and recycling all beverage products.
